I can’t believe July is already here and half of 2009 is already gone. For 2 days straight it has poured all day, everyday, which is odd weather for Florida. We usually have sunshine for most of the day, then the monsoon comes in and leaves after an hour tops. I’m partly blaming my weather for the sour mood I’ve been in lately. Just a few days ago, I felt like I was on top of the world and I could do anything and nothing would stop me. Right now, I’m just kind of blah…not exactly in a bad mood, just a stressed, “I’ve got so much shit to do and I’m having a major battle with ADD” mood.
So, what has happened lately? Dave won $700 at the casino. $400 on Sunday and $300 on Monday. All on free play. Hard Rock sent out free play and meal cards to anyone that had a players card there, so we went on the days that they were valid and Dave ended up winning. Almost our entire Vegas trip is paid for on 2 spins of a crazy Monopoly slot machine. I told Dave he must pack both outfits he wore in his suitcase to Vegas. Socks and everything. He’s the luckiest person I’ve ever met so I wouldn’t be surprised if he won a car in Vegas.
I’m planning on redoing my portfolio site, but haven’t gone any further than just thinking about it. By the time I get home from work, the last thing I want to do is willingly mess around with a website that I’m not getting paid for. I’d much rather mess around on the internet and write bad gossip articles for The Mug Show. Lately, there’s been so many things that I want and need to do, but I have absolutely no ability to concentrate. It’s frustrating beyond no end. I can barely even type this without getting distracted.
So I guess what I’m trying to say is that, I’ve been a bit burned out lately. Hopefully, this will pass soon.
