CVS had a great deal on Kellogg’s cereal this week for just $1.88 a box. I had a bunch of $1.00 off coupons that I cut from last weeks paper, making them only $.88! I went and bought 5 boxes for only $4.40. AWESOME!

I came home to find this mess on the rug. I guess Dali got jealous that Dave and I went out for Mexican food and decided to eat some candy out of the bowl on the coffee table. Luckily these weren’t chocolate, but she did manage to polish off an entire ring pop. I would expect this type of behavior from any other dog, but Dali? Never. She can go 10 hours without peeing. Besides, that candy bowl has been on the table for months.

Today is my parents 27th wedding anniversary. After all this time, they haven’t killed each other. I hope I can have a marriage that is a strong as theirs is. Way to go Mom and Dad!

Nothing really post worthy has happened this week. I’ve been doing well on my diet and started keeping a food journal again. I’ve also been swimming a lot since the weather has been nice. I haven’t gotten on a scale though because I don’t want it to discourage me if I haven’t lost any weight. Scales are evil.

This weekend is going to be jam packed with fun events. Tomorrow night Dave, Chrissy, Angelina, and I are heading to St. Pete for a Rays game. After the game there is a free concert…Ludacris! I’m not a huge fan of Ludacris or hip hop in general, but it’s free and if anything it will be fun to see the crowd it draws.

Sunday is my Dad’s birthday and the family is all going to Fuego…a Brazillan restaurant that is so good. I’ll be sure to work out extra that day because I know I’m going to stuff myself.
